2023 Season Recap: A Season of Highs and Lows
The Albuquerque High Bulldogs experienced a rollercoaster of a season in 2023, starting strong but facing significant challenges along the way. They kicked off the season with a solid 34-17 win over Organ Mountain but then endured a tough stretch with five consecutive losses. These defeats came at the hands of West Mesa (43-35), Farmington (50-0), La Cueva (38-0), and in district play, Clovis (42-12) and Los Lunas (54-0). Despite these setbacks, the Bulldogs finished the season on a positive note, securing close victories against Capital (14-13), Santa Fe (28-12), and Manzano (14-13). However, their 4-6 overall record wasn't enough to secure a playoff spot.
