Overview
I could see up to 19 teams making an argument or run at a state tournament bid. The classification is very good and loaded with quality teams. This spring is the unknown outside of I would say my top 10. It's going to be tough seeing only 8 teams make it this season with so many good teams in the class. I still don't like or understand why we can have a 6A in football but not basketball. We should have football classifications for all sports. Anyhow, the defending champ Las Cruces Bulldawgs have a stellar roster, I've watched Cleveland twice now, and the story is true as it was last season, a lot of talent. Alamogordo is the dark horse, they are sound. Rio Rancho and Volcano Vista will both bring talent and one of those, if they are hot they are hot.
