It's been a long time since I have seen this many quality 6A (used to be 5A) squads. You could make a case for any one of the top 10 making the finals. La Cueva jumped smack in the middle of the mix last night. I really feel like the team that stays focused and gets better throughout the year will end up winning it all. Or maybe it will be the team that just gets hot at the end. The point is there is no easy path to the championship this year. The quality of basketball in NM, overall, is really high right now.
