ALAMOGORDO, New MEXICO - 6-foot-3, 175 pound Kyle Hooper out of Alamogordo will enter the 2016 season as a three year starter at quarterback for the Tigers. As a junior during the 2015 season Hooper threw for a school record 2,674-yards and 23 touchdowns helping the Tigers to a 6-4 season.

Over the weekend Hooper out of the Class of 2017 landed his first offer to play football at the next level from New Mexico Highlands according to his father Dale who is the Head Coach at Alamogordo High School.

Henderson's Take on Hooper: He's come along way since his freshmen year and when I went to watch Alamogordo take on Mayfield during a non-district game in 2015 he seemed like he had become a leader. Has a chip on his shoulder wanted to prove you wrong and has a ton of fire to win. Has a good touch on the ball, especially in red-zone situations. Putting the ball right in the corner of the end-zone is something I've seen him do to perfection.
