NMPreps first look at each schedule leading up to the 2023 season. We give our best predictions and potential overall records.

Schedule
vs Bernalillo High School (at Milne Stadium) - Favorite
at Cibola High School (at Community Stadium) - Underdog
vs St. Pius X High School (at Milne Stadium) - Favorite (to Coin Flip)
vs Belen High School (at Milne Stadium) - Favorite
at Los Lunas High School - Underdog
at Portales High School (Greyhound Stadium) - Underdog (to Coin Flip)
at Manzano High School (at Wilson Stadium) - Favorite
at Del Norte High School (at Milne Stadium) - Favorite
vs Los Alamos High School (at Milne Stadium) - Favorite (to Coin Flip)
at Rio Grande High School (at Milne Stadium) - Favorite

Best Case Scenario:
9-1 overall, 3-0 district. The Vikings made huge strides during in the first year under head coach Billy Cobos. The Vikings improved their win total to 8-4 overall. Can they duplicate that in year two? The schedule favors them reaching the 8-9-10 game win threshold. They return a stud QB.

Worst Case Scenario: 6-4 overall, 2-1 district. The Vikings are favored in six games entering the 2023 season. The games in question -- Los Lunas, Portales, Los Alamos, and Cibola. They'll be underdogs against Los Lunas and Cibola. Portales and Los Alamos become coin flips (under).
