Chuck was a football player and wrestler at Highland (Class of '58) and UNM. He coached a year at Gallup High and briefly at NMMI before he began moving through the coaching ranks, eventually coaching for Woody Hayes at Ohio State, and then for 10 years with the Philadelphia Eagles (including their 1981 Super Bowl team), and then with the Falcons and Chargers.
