This weekend is set up to have three good games to watch.
FRIDAY - USMNT v Guatemala
A friendly tune up before the Gold Cup starts. The US has a heavy MLS roster for the tournament, a big change from their rosters vs Holland and Germany. Guatemala isnt a push over and will be a good test tonight.
SATURDAY: Copa America Final - Chile v Argentina
Chile has had an amazing run through the tournament. They have also been gifted some very generous calls all tournament. They did have to go through some tough teams, Brazil and Colombia for example. Argentina started out slow but then had a 6 goal romp in the semi-final. Messi destroyed Paraguay and didnt even have to score. Chile has the home field advantage but will they be able to capitalize?
SUNDAY: WWC Final - Japan v USA
This game is gonna just shatter TV ratings records for FOX. A great story in the rematch. The US looking to cap off a great tournament, with the best defensive performance in years. Julie Johnston has got to be the new star of the team. She came on and has had a huge impact on every game. But Japan isnt to be overlooked, they are the defending champs and know what it takes to beat the US.
I think I have enough beverages in the fridge to last all three games!
