Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh was on Charlie Strong’s turf this week.

Harbaugh held two of his popular satellite camps in Texas to increase the notoriety of Michigan in this state. The Michigan coach held a camp in Houston on Monday, and another one in Grand Prairie on Tuesday. So far, there have been no pictures of a shirtless Harbaugh running around the football fields in Texas on the internet this week (thank God).

However, Michigan is not the only program actively pursuing kids from Texas.

Notre Dame will hold a one-day camp at Cedar Hill High School on June 16. Oklahoma State has been a part of satellite camps in Texas for several years. According to NCAA rules, school are allowed to hold camps on campus or within a 50-mile radius of their school. In addition, coaches can be a “guest coach” at a camp organized by another school, which is how they are able to conduct these satellite camps.

How cool would it be if Texas Tech held a camp in Albuquerque or Las Cruces for example
