Watching the TBT
A lot of coaches, including me would like a shot clock in high school basketball.
But for reasons there isn’t one and prob won’t be one anytime soon.
so why not the Elam ending?
with 4 mins left in the game clock turns off, you take the score of the leading team and add 8 to it. First team to the target score wins.
Ex. Team A: 46, team B: 40. First team to 54 wins.
Non shooting fouls is 1Ft and the ball back.
no use in holding or stalling cause at the end of the game it won’t help you.
Negates games where the last 2-3 mins is a foul fest to get the ball back.
Ends the game sooner which helps esp with long road trips.
