Albuquerque’s newest media darling is a fiercely independent, articulate, sports-crazy fireball.

He is 14 years old, stands a shade over 4 feet tall, weighs about 60 pounds and is often confined to a wheelchair.

He is not an athlete.

Austin Denton is a broadcaster.

A professional broadcaster. As in, on a payroll.
