Artesia V Hobbs was probably what most expected- similar to last year’s season game. Both offenses scored at will and moved the ball with relative ease. Both teams struggled defensively and rarely even challenged the offenses, although an interception or two was thrown by both teams.
The day concluded with some linemen 1v1’s.... it was pretty intense for both teams! Lots of trash talk and aggression. I would say overall Hobbs was a little better across the line... although Isaiah Farmer on offense and Darian Fernandez on defense dominated their opponents on every snap... Hobbs had a couple kids who did the same... I just don’t know their names.
