Reviewing the 2019 Hawks

Centennial won 10 games last season and returned to the state playoffs reaching the quarterfinals losing to eventual state champion Cleveland High School.

Gone are Ocampos all-state players in Jordan Mendoza, Gabe Acostas, and Aiden Trujillo. Trujillo was one of the top quarterbacks in the state of New Mexico last season throwing for over 1,700-yards.

Previewing the 2020 Hawks

Moving forward the Hawks will have a battle for the quarterback one spot and things are leading to athlete Karsten Rueckner, a 5-10/155 player that could be one of the biggest "newcomers" this coming season.

Final Analysis

The Hawks have won 21 games in two years and have reached the playoffs in both years. Considering the high-end talented head coach Aaron Ocampo has to replace, I feel the Hawks will be in the middle of the district race again.
