La Cueva High School makes changes to holiday tradition after complaint about religion

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A 27-year-old holiday tradition surrounding a Christmas tree at La Cueva High School could be coming to an end after someone has complained there’s a religious element to any kind of Christmas tree. Every year La Cueva puts up a special tree to collect presents for children in need called the bear tree. But, now it is gone.
