No. 1 Seeds As Of February 16th

Class 6A
Clovis Wildcats - 22-2 - Overall they have been the team to beat from the get-go. This team is better than last year's team, plus they've lost already so they don't have that pressure to be perfect. Great overall resume and are riding a 8-game winning streak. Key win is against Cibola.

Class 5A
Los Lunas Tigers - 22-2 - Did you know that Los Lunas has won an incredible 17-games in a row. A win the seeding committee has to value high is their win head to head against Gallup in early January. No team is hotter right now.

Class 4A
Hope Christian Huskies - 18-6 - Yes they have lost 6-games but they come against: Albuquerque, Espanola, Los Alamos, Cibola, and Los Lunas (all are top notch teams besides Albuquerque). Key wins are against Volcano Vista, St. Mike's, and and they are riding an 8-game winnings streak,

Class 3A
Tularosa Wildcats - 21-2 - Each week when Tularosa sends in their scores their depth of scoring leaders is impressive. Very well rounded team with some great wins and really only one bad loss which was a one-point loss to Magdalena.

Class 2A
Tatum - 18-3 - They don't have the best record overall in Class 2A, but their schedule has been tough and they have losses against Elida and Eunice as of late, two very quality teams. They'll likely finish out winning 6 in a row.

Class 1A
Evangel Christian - 18-2 - Very tough to seed the top portion of Class 1A. Evangel Christian has won 11 in row and has three games remaining. If they finish out winning 14 in a row there have a great shot of grabbing the top spot even thought they might not be the best overall team.
