Is there a more useless rule than the technical for dunking during warm-ups? Teams can dunk (or try to) all they want when the refs are 20 ft away inside a locker room, but all of a sudden when the refs are out, it's a tech. Dunking is also allowed during halftime of the game before the varsity game. It's an outdated rule. Get rid of the rule! Now I realize that there would now be thousands of unsuccessful dunks attempted during warm-ups, but who cares. Nothing gets the energy going more before a game than watching guys execute legit dunks. Just my two cents.
