This past weekend during a district match up between Hobbs and Alamogordo, Hobbs Eagle Baseball Players wore orange shocks to show support for Alamogordo's Jarrod Johnson who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.

Coach Marco Boyle gave permission to his Hobbs Players to wear orange shocks (Orange is the color to spread awareness/show support of Leukemia). Johnson attended both games and made a visit to the dugouts where he received handshakes, hugs, and even a standing ovation.
