What has more influence on winning state titles - the players, the coach, or the program?
A recent thread asked to name the all decade team. In the few lists provided, and they were some outstanding lists of great players, only one list had an Artesia Bulldog player on it, although the Bulldogs have enjoyed multiple titles during this decade with some really good players. So is it not the players?
Another recent thread asked about the greatest head coaches (Fab Five) and there were many posts that discussed the coaches named based on longevity, their coaching style, their player relations, but overwhelmingly the coaches listed have multiple state championships. So is it the coach?
Then, in another recent post - I think the same one about the head coaches - a poster said that it doesn't matter who is coaching in Artesia - they are going to win titles. Does this mean it is the program?
Thoughts??
