The Santa Fe Demons are coming off a (11-16, 0-8) season, failing to reach the state tournament last season.
Overview: The Demons graduate a majority of their scoring, rebounding and playmaking from last season and will be looking to replace plenty of what they did last season. The Demons which play in a tough district will again be a team hoping to garner enough wins during the pre-district schedule. David Marquez (Junior) returns from last season, averaging 2.4 points per game and 1.2 rebounds per contest. The Demons on paper do not look the part that some of the teams they are above, also they graduate 6-players and will have an entire new starting line-up.
Last Season
Record: 11-16, 0-8
Home Record: 5-6
Away Record: 3-7
Post Season: Missed the post season.
Points per game: 52.25 (1411)
Points against: 57.74 (1559)
Realistic Prediction: Each season the Demons are talked about being a team that is ready to get over the hump and back into the playoffs. Well, at the end of each season it is the same story for this program as they are playing against some of the top teams in 6A basketball within their own district. This will likely be a season that they win less than 10-games with the amount of players that they have to replace. Likely another post season without the Demons.
District Champ: 5% (this high because they could play upset to the favorite.)
Playoff Team: 2%
Elite Eight: 1%
Final Four: 1%
Title Game: .01%
Returning Players: As mentioned above the Demons do not return any starters from last season and will be replacing a majority of what they did in 2014-2015. Along with Marquez the Demons return Larry Garcia who played in 23-games last season for the Demons.

Draven Lopez (2016)
Santiago Gonzales (2016)
