Luke Padilla (Capital High School)
RB-2021: The Jaguars running back decided to play his senior season and the Fort Lewis commit could have one to remember. The program is far from the cellar days and now one of the top players to every wear the black and teal could take home one of the top awards in New Mexico high school football. Padilla rushed for 1,852 yards last season with 23 touchdowns. With a shortened season we could see the winner, if it's a RB, rush for over 350 yards - he averaged 185 per game last season.
Jeston Webskowski (Clovis High School)
RB-2021: All eyes now turn to Webskowski with QB Harris already at Fort Collins, Colorado. He rushed for 1,713-yards and 27-touchdowns last season playing one of the more difficult schedules in New Mexico last season. That doesn't change this season as they hit the road twice to Rio Rancho to take on the Rams and Cleveland Storm.
Zach Vigil (Rio Rancho High School)
RB-2022: Vigil is ranked among the top-35 players in New Mexico this preseason and will look to build off a sophomore season where he rushed for 1,253-yards and 18-touchdowns. The Rams have a new head coach and things could look different this season along with replacing D-1 QB from the 2019 season.
Cayden Walton (Raton High School)
RB-2023: The longshot is with sophomore Cayden Walton on the surging Raton Tigers which seem to be back in the spotlight with a top ranking this preseason. Walton rushed for 1,907 yards and 19 touchdowns as a freshman in 2019.
Tyler Jenson (Cleveland High School)
RB-2021: The former La Cueva Bear will now wear Storm colors for the 2021 season. Jenson rushed for nearly 600-yards last season and the Storm are loaded with talent, likely to air the ball out to its plethora of next level receivers. Jenson could be the x-factor and see the endzone many times this season.
