Scoop: The top-seed Lovington Wildcats will play for their first state championship since winning it all in 2011 against St. Michael's (14-10). Ruidoso returns to the state championship after winning it in 2017 over Robertson (48-14). The Ruidoso Warriors also won it in 2014 with a 35-28 win over Cobre.
