I was looking at some fall rosters for some schools where I know one or more of the players. Living close to El Paso, I know quite a few El Paso kids. One kid I saw play a lot the last few years was Matt Giles from Franklin High, who was a senior last year and he committed to St. Edwards in Austin. It's a D-II school in the same conference as ENMU.
I pulled up their fall roster and couldn't believe the number of kids listed. I started counting and reached 70, with more than half of them being freshmen. I realize that D-II doesn't have roster limits like D-1 (35), but 70 kids seems ridiculous. 25-30 of those kids will likely be looking for another home come January.
