Tight Ends Who Could Win NMPreps.com's Mr. Football

Today, we continue to release some of our top positional players returning for next season. We continue our look with the top TE's for the 2016 season.
Top Tight Ends for 2016
1. Adam Cook, Sr., TE, Cleveland HS (Rio Rancho, NM): The stat line is impressive and goes for good reason why Adam Cook is ranked so high on returning players for the 2016 season. Cook, caught for 406-yards last season with three touchdowns. A tight end has never won the NMPreps.com Mr. Football award but another season to mimic last, along with being the best offensive weapon don't be shocked to see his name among the finalist.
2. Jacob Barnhill, Sr., Sandia HS (Albuquerque, NM): I'm not to sure if in fact Barnhill will play TE next season but he had a great showing that the Metro Passing League and could be a force as a TE. At 6-foot-3 he is a force and an athlete that could make huge plays. Barnhill is primarily a defensive stud but he has nice hands and could go both ways next season.
3. Trevor Brohard, Sr., TE, Los Lunas HS (Los Lunas, NM): Brohard, is without question one of the best overall prospects in the state of New Mexico along with being one of the best TE's. Brohard, caught for 491-yards last season with 3-touchdowns. Western State recently offered Brohard with plenty more projected to come. Along with this group, the position is underdog to win the top football individual award but with those numbers and a projection of Los Lunas to do well this could be the year of Brohard.
4. Jalen Guerrero, Sr., TE, Mayfield HS (Las Cruces, NM): Size is no issue here with a 6-foot-6, 240-pound prospect for one of the states to football programs. The Trojans will be favorite this season and Guerrero could see his name highlighted several times this season.
5. Joren Dickey, Jr., TE, Volcano Vista HS (Albuquerque, NM): Under the radar for Dickey and along with most on this list are known more for what they do defending the ball. Dickey, however caught for 235-yards on the season with 4-touchdowns. Good news is we have two years to see him dominate as he had those numbers as just a sophomore.
