Today, we take a look at our Wings for the class of 2017 on our countdown of Top Players in the state of New Mexico. To view the rest of the Player Rankings view our Top Prospects Report homepage.
6A - WINGS
#1. Jeremy Snider, W, 6'4'', Rio Rancho HS
Snider hasn't had the season we projected for him but still one of the prospects to watch with plenty of upside. He plays D, has good size for a wing and offensively can score off the dribble in transition or as a spot up shooter.
#2. Marcus Hill, W, 6'0'', Cleveland HS
Marcus Hill could be in the guards list but feel he is a mixture of a good guard but a utility combo player that can board or defend bigger guards or forwards. Good wide body that can knock down from the outside.
#3. Kevin Medrano, W, Gadsden HS
Don't have his size but Medrano is the perfect role playing wing. He can board, sees the court well to get into position to score and be the perfect second option to Tomas Cano.
4. Duece Goodrich, W, Hobbs HS
5. Marcus Hodge, W, Hobbs HS
6. Bishop Woodruff, W, 6'2'', Alamogordo HS
7. Simeon Moya, W, La Cueva HS
5A - WINGS
1. Martin Trujillo, W, Los Lunas HS
Listed and could have gone into the forwards group but found him to be more of a wing as he could hit from the outside but also do work inside the three point line. Trujillo, is a leader and a player that does a little of everything.
2. Jeremy Anaya, W, Capital HS
Placed as a wing as he is more versatile on the offensive end able to board, penetrate and has a jumper.
3. Cal Villareal, W, Goddard HS
The 6'0 utility man has a few good games this season, highlights by a 16 point and 10 rebounds performance when we were on hand. Averaging 8.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
4. Nick Trujillo, W, Belen HS
5. Chris Mesquita, W, Roswell HS
