The New Mexico men’s basketball team (16-4, 8-1 MW) kicks off a two-game road trip on Saturday against UNLV (11-8, 5-3 MW) at the Thomas & Mack Center, with tip-off set for 1:00 pm MT on FOX.

The Lobos, leading the Mountain West and matching their best nine-game conference start since 2013-14, are coming off dominant home wins over Boise State (84-65) and Fresno State (95-67). Donovan Dent leads the conference in scoring and assists. Meanwhile, UNLV is looking to bounce back from a 63-61 home loss to Wyoming after impressive wins over No. 22 Utah State and San Diego State. Led by Dedan Thomas, Jr. (15.8 points, 4.5 assists), the Runnin’ Rebels hold a 43-26 all-time series lead, including 21-9 at home, and have won 10 of the last 11 meetings, with New Mexico’s last road win in the series coming in 2018.
