How It Works: The NMPreps.com Mr. Football Award Powered By The Tate Branch Auto Group is given to the best high school football player in the State of New Mexico after each season. Each week during the football season, NMPreps.com tracks the progress of each player, and during the quarterfinal week of the playoffs a final set of candidates will be released. We also take into account coaches thoughts and fan's input based off the NMPreps Message Board. This works just like the Heisman Trophy award.
