Let's meet the electrifying contenders:

Bella Hines, 2025 (Eldorado High School/Albuquerque, NM): Revered as the most dynamic player in New Mexico high school basketball this season, Hines blazed a trail with her stellar performances. Leading the charge for the Golden Eagles, she dominated the court with an awe-inspiring average of 32.5 points per game, earning her team a spot in the quarterfinals. Hines won the award in 2023 as a sophomore.

Harper Dunn, 2027 (Corona/Vaughn High School/Corona, NM): Despite her freshman status, Dunn stood tall as a towering force on the court. At an impressive 6-foot-6, her remarkable stats speak volumes, boasting averages of 21.4 points, an astounding 17.6 rebounds, and an imposing 8.9 blocks per game, showcasing her undeniable prowess.

Sydney Benally, 2025 (Sandia High School/Albuquerque, NM): A beacon of excellence, Benally's contributions to the Matadors' triumph cannot be overstated. Guiding her team to the 2024 5A New Mexico high school basketball state championship, she displayed poise and skill, averaging an impressive 21.5 points per game, solidifying her status as a standout guard.

Taejhuan "TT" Hill, 2024 (Volcano Vista High School/Albuquerque, NM): Dominating the paint with an imposing presence, Hill emerged as a force to be reckoned with. Standing tall at 6 feet, this forward propelled the Hawks to the 2024 5A state championship game with averages of 16.8 points and 11.3 rebounds per game, leaving an indelible mark on the court.
