Scoop: What a treat at Bernalillo High School today as they are home to the 3A Final Four. Prediction wise we called that we are likely to see a Navajo Prep-Tohatchi rematch when the brackets came out. Robertson has been in this position and are also home to a state championship in 2019. In fact of the last four state championships three of those teams are playing today. Tohatchi won in 2017, Navajo Prep is the defending champ and as mentioned Robertson in 2019. Can Hatch Valley join the club? Makenzie Williams (Hatch) who is averaging 14 per game will need to play lights out with Hailey Martin (2021) and TionTai Woods (2021) on the other side of the court. In the Tohatchi game we focus on Robertson trying to stop a trio of Cougar players in Montana Soto (2021), Aurelia Lowe (2021) and Kiana Bia (2022). Soto dropped 17 points in a win over West Las Vegas on Monday.
