MONDAY, APRIL 29TH

Chaparral 7, Silver 3 - Final (4A):
Chaparral capitalized on two significant innings, scoring 3 runs in both the bottom of the 1st and the bottom of the 6th, paving the way for a 7-3 district victory over Silver. Chris Torres Jr. (2025) delivered an outstanding performance with 4 hits, 2 runs, 3 RBIs, including a crucial triple and a powerful home run. Sophomore Israel Nieto contributed to the Chaparral Lobos' win with 2 hits, 2 RBIs, and a run. Both players showcased their speed with 2 stolen bases each. Senior Luis Ramos played a crucial role on the mound, pitching 6.1 innings and recording an impressive 9 strikeouts to secure the victory.

Deming 8, Santa Teresa 7 - Final (4A): Santa Teresa stormed ahead with early runs, leading 4-0 after two innings. Despite Santa Teresa's initial dominance, Deming clawed their way back into the game, scoring consistently to narrow the gap. In a tense matchup that stretched into extra innings, Deming secured the win with a decisive run in the bottom of the 8th inning. Senior Jaydon Carbajal played a pivotal role for Deming with two hits, an RBI, and a run scored, while junior Jose Duran contributed significantly with two hits, an RBI, and a double. Deming utilized two pitchers, senior Bryan Garcia and freshman Eric Mariscal, both tallying 5 strikeouts each. Despite the loss, Santa Teresa's sophomore Gavin Garcia showcased his prowess with 2 hits, 3 RBIs, and a run scored.

Eunice 10, Texico 7 - Final (2A): Texico surged ahead with a 3-run inning in the top of the 1st, but Eunice turned the tide with a commanding 7-run inning in the bottom of the 5th, securing a hard-fought victory. Luis Gomez (2025) led the charge for the Cardinals, showcasing his all-around skill with 2 hits, 2 runs, and 3 RBIs, while also swiping 2 bases. Senior Braelon Jeter made significant contributions both at the plate and on the mound, adding a hit, 2 RBIs, and a double to his name. Jeter also excelled as a pitcher, tallying 6 strikeouts over 4 innings pitched.

TUESDAY, APRIL 30TH
Albuquerque Academy 6, Bernalillo 4 - Final:
Albuquerque Academy Secures District 6-4A Title with a 6-4 Victory. In a crucial matchup on Tuesday night, the Albuquerque Academy Chargers clinched the District 6-4A championship with a hard-fought win over the Bernalillo Spartans on the road. Junior Andrew Olson led the offensive charge for the Chargers with 2 hits, but the highlight of the game came from two powerful home runs, one by junior EJ Gallardo and the other by sophomore Ryan Williams, who also contributed 3 RBIs. However, the spotlight belonged to junior Matthew Delaney, who delivered a remarkable pitching performance, going the distance with all 7 innings and an impressive 15 strikeouts. Despite the loss, freshman Ulisses Castro managed 2 hits for Bernalillo, while sophomore Andrew Hernandez-Carrillo showcased his skills with a hit, run, triple, and 2 RBIs, adding to the Spartans' efforts.

Centennial 13, Las Cruces 6 - Final: Centennial Soars Past Las Cruces in District Showdown. In a crucial District 3-5A clash, the Centennial Hawks secured a commanding 13-6 victory over crosstown rivals Las Cruces. The game saw a remarkable fourth inning surge from Centennial, where they piled on an impressive 13 runs to take control of the matchup. Junior Aidan Renteria led the offensive charge for the Hawks, finishing with 2 hits, 3 RBIs, and a run. Sophomore Gilberto Torres contributed significantly with a hit, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs, while another sophomore, Chase Sanchez, added a hit and a run to bolster Centennial's offensive onslaught. On the mound, senior Hudson Harrison delivered a solid performance, tallying 5 strikeouts over 5 innings pitched to anchor the Hawks' victory. The win helps East Mountain solidify their position in the hunt for a top-four seed. Organ Mountain 7, Mayfield 0 - Final: Organ Mountain Secures Shutout Victory Over Mayfield. St. Michael's 10, Robertson 2 - Final: St. Michael's Dominates Robertson 10-2. The St. Michael's Horsemen showcased their offensive prowess in a commanding road victory over Robertson, edging closer to securing the District 2-3A title. Elijah Archuleta led the charge with a stellar performance, tallying 3 hits, a run, an RBI, and a double. Santiago Martinez also made significant contributions with 3 hits of his own, including 2 runs and 3 RBIs, accompanied by 2 doubles. Adding to the offensive onslaught, junior Sabiani Rios showcased his speed with 2 stolen bases. WEDNESDAY, MAY 1ST
Hatch Valley 13, Socorro 2 - Final:
Hatch Valley Bears Dominate Socorro Warriors 13-2 in District 3-3A Clash. In Wednesday night's District 3-3A showdown, the Hatch Valley Bears delivered an emphatic performance, securing a commanding 13-2 victory over the Socorro Warriors. Junior Alan Ruiz emerged as a standout player for the Bears, contributing significantly with 3 hits, a run, an RBI, and a double. Additionally, Ruiz showcased his versatility by pitching 5 solid innings, tallying 3 strikeouts to clinch the win. Sophomore Juan Ruiz made his presence felt with 3 RBIs, a hit, and a run, while junior Franklin Williams added to the offensive onslaught with 2 RBIs, a triple, a hit, and a run.

Rehoboth Christian 17, Navajo Pine 1 - Final: Rehoboth Christian Dominates Navajo Pine with 17-1 Victory. In a commanding display of prowess, the Rehoboth Christian Lynx swept both games in their district matchup against the Navajo Pine Warriors. The second game showcased a dominant performance from the Lynx, as they erupted with a 12-run first inning, setting the tone for the game. Four players stood out with stellar offensive contributions, each earning three hits: Raeden West (2024), Trajen West (2026), Jonathan Zylstra (2026), and Jude Christensen (2026). Notably, West, Zylstra, and Christensen also tallied 3 RBIs each, with all four players crossing the plate multiple times. Adding to the offensive barrage, Michael Arsenault (2025) and Nehemiah Hardy (2024) went yard, both hit home runs. West, one of the two pitchers for the game, showcased his dominance on the mound with 6 strikeouts, further solidifying Rehoboth Christian's decisive victory.

THURSDAY, MAY 2ND

Goddard 7, Artesia 1 - Final:
The Goddard Rockets' offense remained relatively quiet until the top of the 6th inning, where they exploded for 6 runs to secure a decisive victory over the Artesia Bulldogs. Senior Ryan Alsup led the charge with 3 hits, contributing an RBI and run, while fellow senior Garrett Langley added 2 hits to the offensive effort. Ross Stokes also chipped in with a hit and 2 runs. On the mound, senior Tyler Conrad showcased his pitching prowess, going the distance with 4 strikeouts over 7 innings. For Artesia, junior Frankie Galindo recorded a hit and run, while sophomore Jack Byers impressed with a solid 5 innings pitched, tallying 5 strikeouts.

Ruidoso 6, Sandia Prep 2 - Final: The Warriors wasted no time asserting their dominance, putting up 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning and maintaining their lead throughout the game to secure a district victory. Senior Gabriel Johnson led the offensive charge with 3 hits and 1 run, while junior Joel Ortega contributed 2 hits and a run. Sophomore Omar Guerrero made significant contributions with 2 hits, an RBI, a double, and a run. On the mound, senior Logan Sandoval delivered a stellar performance, pitching all 7 innings and recording 8 strikeouts.

Santa Teresa 21, Deming 11 - Final: The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors asserted their dominance with a commanding performance, scoring 9 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning and following it up with 8 more runs in the bottom of the 6th to secure a 21-11 victory over district rival Deming. Senior Gabriel Heredia and sophomore Gavin Garcia led the offensive charge, each tallying 3 hits. Garcia also contributed 3 RBIs and a triple, while Heredia added 2 runs to the team's impressive display. In addition to his offensive prowess, Heredia showcased his pitching skills, lasting 5.2 innings on the mound and finishing with 4 strikeouts.

St. Michael's 6, Santa Fe Indian 5 - Final: In a crucial matchup to determine the District 2-3A champion, the St. Michael's Horsemen faced off against the Santa Fe Indian Braves in a doubleheader. After a narrow 7-6 loss in the first game, the Horsemen rallied in the second game to secure a 6-5 victory, clinching the district title. Jackson Heath, Sabiani Rios, and Michael Giesler led the offensive charge for St. Michael's, each contributing 2 hits. Giesler crossed the plate twice, while Rios notched a double, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs. On the mound, Lucas Stoll delivered a solid performance, pitching 6 innings and recording 7 strikeouts. Despite the loss, standout freshman Nathaniel Aguilar showcased his talent once again for the Santa Fe Indian Braves, tallying 2 hits, 2 runs, an RBI, and a double. Aguilar also impressed on the mound, pitching 5.1 innings and striking out 9 batters.
