Winners Bracket

No. 4 Hope Christian over No. 10 Albuquerque High, 56-46: For the second time in two weeks the Hope Christian Huskies beat the Albuquerque High Bulldogs who are the 1-seed in the APS Metro Championship Tournament. The Huskies move on to play Cibola in the Semi-Finals.
No. 3 Cibola over No. 9 Rio Rancho, 78-60: District opponents square off for the first time (before district play) in the second round of the APS Tournament. Cibola at (9-1) and riding a hot streak take the first meeting 78-60. The Cougars will face the Huskies of Hope Christian in the semi-finals.
No. 1 Valley over No. 13 Rio Grande, 68-56: Down in the south valley two more district opponents squared off before district play as the number one team in the state of New Mexico, the Valley Vikings beat Rio Grande on their home court. Valley moves on and will face Cleveland in the semifinals.
No. 5 Cleveland over No. 19 La Cueva, 66-46: In Albuquerque the Cleveland Storm who are the 2-seed in the bracket took care of business on the La Cueva Bears, 66-46. The Storm will take on top ranked Valley in the semi-finals.
Semi-Finals: The Semi-Finals of the APS Metro Championships sets up No. 1 vs No. 5 and No. 4 vs No 3 on the NMPreps.com Top-25 Rankings. The showdown features three teams favored to be in the Final Four.
Consolation Bracket
Upset: Manzano over No. 16 Sandia, 55-54: Braxton Bouyer led the upset for the Manzano Monarchs over district opponent Sandia on Wednesday night. The win gives the Monarchs some confidence moving forward while the Matadors continue to struggle this season at 2-6 on the year.
Atrisco Heritage over West Mesa, 47-28: The Jaguars shake off their first loss over Cibola with a convincing win over West side rival West Mesa.
Del Norte and Eldorado squared off along with Highland-Volcano Vista also in the consolation side.
