Okay, let me take a few seconds out of your day to boast (just a little) that during my "The Winner" section last week I went 2-0. Okay off my horse and back to reality that I have not been that good in three previous years working here on my picks. Well, without further ado, the third version of Weekend Headlines.

1. The Stat 'Getter': Nabahitachiini Nez, Navajo Pine - 10 Sacks This was an EYE OPENER when I saw this stat of 32-sacks on the early season. I don't know if myth or legend to call this young fella but the 6-foot-5 DL player for the 0-3 football team is said to had 16-sacks last week. Well they face off in the cellar dweller with 0-3 Dulce and I'm calling for 10 sacks. Insane, bold, myth, magical -maybe. But that is why I write the bold 3-picks this weekend.
2. The Winner: Capital over Robertson: According to Pick 'Em I went with Capital over Robertson. Yeah, right now I don't feel nearly as confident that I did a week ago. Honestly, I hope they don't get mercy ruled. Was that a dumb thing to just pick but I have to stay true to the feature type and My Pick Em but honestly I could say as a bold pick that Robertson shuts out Capital tonight but staying true to the feature type Capital and the Bill Moon Mighty Jaguars win a thriller by 6. Close game, they run a TD and win the game!
3. The Score Prediction: 42-21 Centennial: This is another, um I don't think you took your meds today Grine, but I say the Hawks take a 20-point win over Las Cruces this weekend. My confidence level is not that high this week with my picks but who knows nobody agreed when I picked Alamo over Mayfield (yes I was the only one in Pick Em to get that right). Bonus: Did someone in the Bold Predictions thread really post about the dance team at Valley... The Vikettes? Hell yeah, I'm down with the "did you really just say that type of posts". Nice "bold" pick. If I knew another tough dance squad I would make a prediction. Don't know one so Vikettes wins.
