Week Two: What Teams Do You Like Going 2-0?

Today, we look at the teams with the best chance of going 2-0 after week two of the New Mexico High school football season.
The 5 I Like at 2-0
No. 5 Artesia: The Bulldogs take on Hobbs (0-1) who struggled during week one against Clovis. The Bulldogs (1-0) should continue to roll in this game and if Hobbs wants to upset in this one, they have to be perfect on offense and better a lot better on the defensive side of the ball.
No. 9 Centennial: This one on paper could be an intriguing game but definitely one of the defining type of games. Centennial and Manzano are (1-0) so easily the winner goes to 2-0 but I pick Centennial as the better suitor as contender vs pretender descriptions.
No. 20 Goddard: Tricky, as this is the 5A version from the paragraph above. Both Goddard (1-0) and No. 16 Piedra Vista (1-0) come in with wins last week. Both looked like they are hitting the right buttons. It could be the 5A game of the week if it wasn't for Los Lunas and Alamogordo.
No. 6 Clovis: The Wildcats hit the ground running, running to a 46-10 win behind the legs of Micah Gray's 6 touchdowns. They will take on Southeast member Carlsbad (0-1) who fell last week to Artesia only putting 14 points on the board.
No. 21 St. Pius X: The Sartans (1-0) took a convincing 48-8 win over Highland last week from District 4-6A, the same district as this weeks opponent West Mesa (1-0) who is right outside the Top-25 with a win over Del Norte in week one.
Stayed Away From So Obvious Picks
Sandia (1-0) vs Valley (0-1): Could be another mercy rule game.
Miyamura (1-0) vs Rio Grande (0-1): Rio can score this week but Miyamura the heavy favorite.
Roswell (1-0) vs Gadsden (0-1): Nice that Gadsden got off with a win after a 1-9 season last season but Roswell is A LOT better than Deming.
Belen (1-0) vs Highland (0-1): Belen is better, Highland looked like Highland.
Intriguing Games To Consider: Coin Flips
St. Mikes (1-0) vs Capital (0-1)
Hatch Valley (1-0) vs Ruidoso (0-1)
Robertson (1-0) vs Cobre (0-1)
Portales (1-0) vs Lovington (0-1)
Hope (1-0) vs Taos (0-1)
