2022 Losses: Volcano Vista (34-17), Eastwood TX (63-35), Cleveland (46-3), Hobbs (44-28), Alamogordo (13-10), Carlsbad (21-7), Centennial (35-14)
Best Case Scenario: 4-6 overall. 4-wins might not seem like a success, and to the old Las Cruces standards perhaps it's not, but this would be a step forward for the Bulldawgs. Last season they dropped to 2-wins and things have certainly shifted in Las Cruces area with much of that power going to Centennial. The start is rough, very rough, and they will likely be 0-4 and then add in five, FIVE, straight road games. Okay the Mayfield game is not a true road game but still trips on the road will hurt. Four wins is the ceiling.
Worst Case Scenario: 2-8 overall. The Bulldawgs picked up a game this season against El Paso-Americas TX after only playing 9 games in 2022. The two games that favor the Dawgs this season are Mayfield and Organ Mountain, both wins from last season. Organ Mountain will struggle this season, Mayfield will be improved but those are the two most likely wins entering the season.
