I didn’t even know he tried to walk on this fall at UNM as a freshman. I saw him pitch against Santa T in the first round of the Artesia Tourney last spring and thought he had a nice breaking ball
Huge congrats to the kid. Obviously must have lots of upside and I know he is real smart. A kid like this can be an inspiration for a lot of others to chase their dreams. Not sure he had any offers last year and is now a D-1 player.
I wonder how many of the 19 or 20 juco kids made the 35-man roster for UNM
