• The NMHSCA will recognize the 2019 Hall of Honor inductees along with the 2019 Ralph Bowyer Coaching for Character Award, the Distinguished Service Award winner. In addition, the following individuals: Coach of the Year, State Championship coaches, Milestone Awards winners and more. This is an event all attendees should attend.

DW Rutledge, NFHS Hall of Fame Inductee

• DW Rutledge, a state championship coach and a long time director of the THSCA will speak about the power of a coach to teach beyond the game. Coach Rutledge has been a leader in the state of Texas in preparing coaches of all sports to be better leaders both on and off the playing surface. “I think love is the most powerful thing on earth, and I want coaches to remember that,”. Our mission statement is to help coaches help kids.”
