This thread is dedicated to information regarding district co-champions and the time and place of their playoff games for #1 seed in the district tournament. Any information regarding tiebreakers please share below. Thank you.
PLAYOFF GAMES
As of FRIDAY 2/22, the following teams will have playoff games for #1 seeds in their district tournament (and also the automatic regular season champion tournament bid):
-Volcano Vista and Rio Rancho - 5:30PM on Tuesday (2/26) at Atrisco Heritage
-Hobbs and Carlsbad - 6PM on Monday (2/25) at Roswell High School
-Lordsburg and Mescalero Apache - 6PM on Tuesday (2/26) at Las Cruces
-Loving and Jal - 6PM on Tuesday (2/26) at Loving
-Logan and Melrose - Saturday 2/23 - Melrose defeated Logan
Potential Playoffs (Await Saturday Results)
-Piedra Vista and West Mesa (in Gallup): IF PV loses to Farmington [UPDATE: Piedra Vista defeated Farmington; PV wins district outright]
-Hatch Valley and Socorro: IF Socorro defeats Cobre [UPDATE: Socorro lost; Hatch wins outright]
-Navajo Prep and winner of Tohatchi-Crownpoint: IF Navajo Prep loses at Zuni [UPDATE: Navajo Prep won and wins district title outright]
All other districts are wrapped with overall district champions established.
