3. Santa Rosa (Last Season: 11-2)
4. Texico Wolverines (Last Season: 4-8)
5. Jal Panthers (Last Season: 5-6)
6. Fort Sumner Foxes (Last Season: 9-2)
7. Newcomb Skyhawks (Last Season: 10-2)
8. Escalante Lobos (Last Season: 9-3)
9. Lordsburg Mavericks (Last Season: 3-8)
10. Hagerman Bobcats (Last Season: 4-6)

What we know: Plenty of uncertainty in 2A football this season and the gate is open. Yes, Eunice has one of the highest rated quarterbacks along with a talented roster but we will see what a new head coach brings.

Notes: Many teams from 2-6 have to replace key pieces from last season, some gave looks to underclassmen that return and others we are relying on a tradition of doing well.
