Today, we highlight the ten must see players in New Mexico High School basketball this season. These are our pre-season Top-10 Player Rankings but will have updateed monthly rankings this season.
1. Brenden Boatwright - Carlsbad High School
2. Clay Patterson - Rio Rancho High School
3. Marlon Cunningham - Albuquerque High School (2017)
4. DJ Bustos - West Las Vegas High School
5. David Cormier - Volcano Vista High School
6. Anthony Chavez - Valley High School (2018)
7. Desmond Carpenter - Cibola High School
8. Juan Hurt - Rio Rancho High School
9. Segun Oyeku - Valley High School
10. Cameron Dixon - Cibola High School
Grine on the Group: Boatwright is one of my favorite "bigs" with a soft shooting touch and could be a four at the division one level.
Cunningham is solid back to the basket big man with the attitude to take the Bulldogs to the title.
Guards are solid this year - best I've seen it. Yes, we know the year with Cullen and Bryce, two D-1 guards was phenomenal but the depth in this years backcourt will be non-stop amazing to watch.
