2025 Camps & 7-on-7 Schedule

We are excited to provide an opportunity for teams to compete against each other in full padded team situations at our 1st ever Padded Team Camp Jamboree on July 17th. We will start at 6 PM and go until everyone gets at least (4) 30 Minute get togethers against other opponents. It will be run as “Thud Tempo” where we strive to always keep your players up and off the ground. We have corresponded with the NMAA to make sure our format fits their regulations. This camp must fall within your designated padded practice days for you to be able to attend. All “Get Togethers” will be filmed and shared with the two teams via Hudl with the understanding that the film is to never be shared with anyone else. We will have high school and college officials to work the games, and our staff will monitor teams to make sure “THUD” tempo is always adhered to. There will be a menu of situations you can choose from for each get together that include: moving the ball, Redzone, Goaline, 3rd Down, Coming Out, Etc. Once it gets dark, we will move all get togethers into the stadium so we can only accommodate a limited number of teams. If you would like to attend, please RSVP soon before we are full. It is 1st come 1st serve and we already have a few schools committed so we will likely fill up quickly. If you are planning on attending both our 7 on 7 / Lineman Challenge and our Team Camp we will give you a 50% discount on our 7 on 7/Lineman camp so that both opportunities are affordable for your program. The cost of the Team Camp is $50 per player or $1,000 for a team whichever is cheaper for your program. Sub Varsity teams are welcome as well and we will work to match them up vs. other Sub Varsity Teams or Smaller Schools Varsity Teams. IMG_6299.jpeg

Does anyone know the NMAA rule as it pertains to the use of helmets during summer 7v7s?

7.15.1.B-Practice Regulations
4. The use of helmets/pads is mostly prohibited during the off-season/summer. If approved by school/district administration, helmets/pads may be used in a limited capacity beginning the Monday of week #47 through the Saturday of week #3 of the following NMAA calendar year. See Bylaw 7.5.2.G for exact regulations.

Please send me some dates for 7-on-7 events this summer. I would like to attend a few.

Do you have a schedule or list of teams coach?
At this time I do not have a schedule for the games. I do believe a good amount of teams will be there. It’s supposed to be Var and some JV/C with linemen as well. When I get the list of teams I will be able to let you know.

Los Lunas, Volcano, and Eldorado ran some 7 on 7 today at LLHS. All 3 teams looked athletic, but 7 on 7 does that for teams. LL definitely looked the best out there, but what was impressive was how Eldo looked on O. Zach Gentry calling the offense was impressive and they have a QB that can sling it.

I did hear that recently talking with a coach that Gentry is the new OC and Art Abreu is on defense now.
