There was a post regarding combining classes and rotating the site for the state tournament. I can't remember what thread it was under but wanted to throw this idea out there.
How about a midseason event at a central location, lets say Roswell, with 5 northern teams going head to head with 5 southern teams. Whoever wins 3 or more would get to host Championship Saturday in March. North wins it would be at the Pit, South wins it would be at Pan Am Center. For instance this year you could have had Albuq High vs Hobbs...Cleveland vs Carlsbad...West Mesa vs Gadsden...Centennial vs Espanola...Farmington vs Roswell (different location obviously).
I know, I know. Its ALL about money and more people can cram into the Pit, but can't we at least consider a different location?
