Groups for the APS Metro Tournament, to begin Aug. 24 at the APS Soccer Complex:
Boys
Group A: Cibola, Eldorado, Manzano, West Mesa
Group B: Atrisco Heritage, Del Norte, La Cueva, Rio Rancho
Group C: Albuquerque, Highland, Valley, Volcano Vista
Group D: Academy, Cleveland, Rio Grande, Sandia
Girls
Group A: Academy, Rio Rancho, Sandia, West Mesa
Group B: Cleveland, Eldorado, Manzano, Valley
Group C: Del Norte, La Cueva, Rio Grande, Volcano Vista
Group D: Albuquerque, Atrisco Heritage, Cibola, Highland
Each team plays each of the other three teams in its group. Based on those results, the teams are placed into four brackets for two games the next week (i.e., all four #1 teams are put in one bracket, all the #2s go in another bracket, etc.).
