Best Worst Scenario: 3-7 overall. The Jaguars move to 6A football, from 5A, will be a tough test to a program that went 4-6 in their final season in 5A. Against 6A competition the Jaguars went 0-2 during the 2021 season --- Santa Fe (lost 48-28) and against another team moving to 6A Farmington (lost 55-0). Games that are close in the percentage of favorite/underdog/coin flip are Grants, Atrisco Heritage, and Alamogordo.
Worst Case Scenario: 1-9 overall. The Jaguars should move along against Grants in the opening game, if they lose that, then they could be in trouble facing an 0-10 season. Atrisco Heritage should be another that the Jaguars win and are more in the favorite section.
