Recap
2022 Record: 3-7 overall, 0-5 district
2022 Wins: Deming (28-7), Mayfield (28-0), Gadsden (49-21)
2022 Losses: Albuquerque (22-20), Rio Rancho (20-13), Centennial (49-13), Carlsbad (33-26), Las Cruces (31-21), Hobbs (48-6), Alamogordo (7-3)
Post Season: Missed Playoffs
Best Case Scenario: 5-5 overall
The Organ Knights will enter the 2023 season with a new head coach and looking to rebuild. The roster is depleted from a talented 2023 class. The Knights won 3-games last season but what else happened was in losses the Knights had five games that we lost by under 10-points. The game to flip would be Albuquerque, they lost 22-20 last season and possibly Alamogordo (lost 7-3) that would get them into the playoffs.
Worst Case Scenario: 1-9 overall
Enter the season the Knights have one game that they are favored -- Gadsden on September 15th. The Knights are a wait and see as we enter the season though and it could either be a game that shifts to CF, depending on the course of the season. Folks are excited about the hire of Sanchez and although we are thinking major rebuild they are looking at a quick fix. Winning early is key or staying competitive before a home game against Rio Rancho. District will be tougher this season with every team expecting to contend behind Centennial.
