However, the momentum slowed as they encountered a tough stretch, losing three straight games to Durango, Colorado 41-7, Silver 14-7, and St. Michael's 19-7. They rebounded with a 36-7 win over Taos, concluding their non-district schedule with a 4-3 record.
Entering district play, the Tigers showcased their prowess with a commanding 54-0 win over Gallup. Despite a setback against the eventual district champion Bloomfield, losing 42-0, they closed out the regular season strong with a 48-22 victory over Kirtland Central.
Securing a 6-seed in the New Mexico 4A state playoffs, the Tigers triumphed over 11-seed Taos in the first round, 21-14. Their season came to an end in the quarterfinals with a hard-fought 28-14 loss to the 3-seed Silver on the road. Despite the ups and downs, the Tigers displayed resilience and determination throughout the season.
