Bustos led the Dons of West Las Vegas to a win over Belen. Bustos, was dropping down anything he put up.
AZ SALAZAR - JUNIOR - ESPANOLA VALLEY
The hero of the 2016 State Champion Sundevils once again had a big showing, especially in the third quarter scoring at will in the paint fueling the Sundevils win over La Cueva.
EDWARD HERRON - SENIOR - LA CUEVA HIGH SCHOOL
Herron, had a solid first half, boarding and finishing at the glass. New name on the radar.
JP SENA - JUNIOR - ESPANOLA VALLEY
Part of a talented junior class for the Sundevils. Can do it on both ends as a defender and make plays off the ball.
DIEGO GONZALES - JUNIOR - WEST LAS VEGAS
A talented wing for the Dons fueled by a big second half dropping a few threes from the outside. Solid counterpart to Bustos
MATTHEW PADILLA - JUNIOR - BELEN HIGH SCHOOL
Padilla, was one of the better weapons for a well balanced Belen team. He was seen knocking down outside the arch but banging in the paint as well.
TRISTON McCARTY - SENIOR - LA CUEVA
Savvy point guard who penetrates well and has good vision. Extra bonus is the ability to knock it down from the three when open.
JOSHUA SALAZAR - SENIOR - ESPANOLA VALLEY
Great spot up shooter and creates a dominating trio for the Sundevils. Was huge in the second half from the outside.
TYLER BLASI - JUNIOR - LAS CUEVA
Quick little guard, that is a little unpolished right now but has the skills to be a huge part to this backcourt. Was a JV player last season.
GARRETT GALLEGOES - JUNIOR - BELEN HIGH SCHOOL
Creates a quality 1-2 inside, outside game with Padilla for the Eagles. Will be a big duo the next two years.
