We have about 9 players from out of state and 1 coach that we are looking for Host Families for this summer.

If you love baseball and the idea of sharing your home
with a college baseball player, this is an opportunity for you! This is an
opportunity to contribute to your community as well as make an impact in a
young man's life.

The New Mexico Diablos are currently searching for Host
Families for the 2015 season. The players are recruited from all over the
United States to spend the summer here in Albuquerque.

A vital part of a successful season is to have host
families provide housing for the players, giving them support and a family
atmosphere for the summer. We work extremely hard, and take pride in providing
our players with a safe, comfortable family environment. These young men will
have a positive influence in our community and in your home. Many past Host
Families have developed friendships with the players they have welcomed into
their homes and have enjoyed watching their player progress in their lives on
and off the field. This is a great opportunity to receive an inside look at the
trials and tribulations of an aspiring professional baseball player. The
baseball season begins the week of Memorial Day and ends in Mid July.

As a Host Family, here is what we ask of you:

•
Provide a player with their own
room for the season.

•
Provide access to a washer and
dryer if possible.

•
Provide access to a bathroom

•
Provide access to a kitchen

•
Provide a safe and comfortable
environment.

•
Cheer for him at the games whenever
possible.

You can expect your player to be a conscientious young
man who will be a positive role model in your home and the community. He is
expected to follow the rules in your house, contribute to your family's
routines, and share his gratitude for your generosity. It is not unusual for a
player to become a mentor to your young ball player and aspiring college
students… sharing skills and building a friendship that could last a lifetime.

If you would like to learn more about becoming a host
family for the 2015 season and being part of our Diablos family, or talk
to some of our participants, please contact us.
New Mexico Diablos Baseball could not exist without the support and
assistance of the community - especially the generous families and individuals
who have opened their homes and hearts to these young players.
