In a high-scoring Saturday showdown, No. 3 Centennial Hawks (3-0) continued their dominant start to the season with a 70-39 victory over No. 13 Artesia Bulldogs (1-2) at the Field of Dreams. Centennial’s offense exploded, led by New Mexico State University recruit Zaiden Davis, who delivered a career-defining performance. Davis rushed for an astonishing 381 yards and scored six touchdowns, solidifying his place as one of the top players in New Mexico. Artesia put up a valiant effort, but they couldn't keep pace with Centennial's firepower as the Hawks soared to another victory.
St. Pius X 38, Moriarty 29 - Final
In a stunning comeback, St. Pius X Sartans erased a 22-0 first-quarter deficit to defeat Moriarty 38-29. Trailing 22-12 at halftime, St. Pius X battled back, even after Moriarty extended the lead to 29-12 early in the third quarter. The Sartans' second-half surge featured two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns, completing an incredible 26-point rally. With the win, St. Pius X moves to 2-1 on the season, while Moriarty suffers their first loss, also sitting at 2-1.
