Each day we will release 10 players that dominate soccer in the state of New Mexico. There is a lot of talent in this state and we want to showcase those players and the biggest highlight of their season.

No. 1 Aidan Cserhat (Taos/ Class of 2016/ Forward)
50 Goals, 27 Assists.
Cserhat has been the best scorer in the state. He knocked in a season high 9 goals and 3 assists against Bernalillo.

No. 2 Tankred Steinbach (Albuquerque/ Class of 2016/ Forward)
14 Goals, 12 Assists.
Steinbach was the only Bulldog to score against Cibola.

No. 3 Charles Touche (Academy/ Class of 2017/ Forward)
24 Goals, 14 Assists.
Touche had game winners against Rio Grande, Albuquerque, Los Alamos and Atrisco.

No. 4 Andrea Seazzu (Albuquerque/ Class of 2016/ Goalkeeper)
3 Goals Against, 13 Shut Outs.
Seazzu won a state championship. He had 5 saves in a win over Atrisco.

No. 5 Joe Ortiz (Cibola/ Class of 2016/ Defense)
3 Goals, 3 Assists.
Ortiz is one of the best defenders in the state. He knocked in the game winning goal against La Cueva.

No. 6 Victor Lozoya (Capital/ Class of 2017/ Forward)
34 Goals, 16 Assists.
Lozoya’s team only lost 1 game when he scored. He had 3 games with 4 goals.

No. 7 Diego Flores (Los Lunas/ Class of 2018/ Midfield/ Forward)
31 Goals, 12 Assists.
Flores scored the game winner against Valencia and recorded 6 goals and 4 assists against Grants.

No. 8 Aaron Otto (La Cueva/ Class of 2016/ Forward)
14 Goals, 8 Assists.
Otto was part of every goal against Academy and Eldorado.

No. 9 Luis Cazares (Centennial/ Class of 2016/ Forward/ Midfield)
29 Goals.
Cazares scored the game winner against Chaparral.

No. 10 Jared Dominquez (Rio Ranchos/ Class of 2016/ Defense)
1 Goal.
Dominquez as a main contributor of the defensive line that won their district.


No. 11 Ryan O’Malia (Academy/ Class of 2017/ Goalkeeper)
9 Goals Against, 12 Shutouts.
O’Malia earned a state title. He had 8 big saves in win against Albuquerque.

No. 12 Skylor Rose (Sandia Prep/ Class of 2019/ Forward)
32 Goals, 11 Assists.
Rose scored Prep’s only goal against Hobbs and Hope.

No. 13 Sergio Carvajal (Roswell/ Class of 2016/ Forward)
28 Goals, 11 Assists.
Carvajal scored the game winner against Valencia.

No. 14 Jonathan Sanchez (Goddard/ Class of 2017/ Midfield)
28 Goals, 9 Assists.
Sanchez scored the Rockets only goals against Roswell, Ruidoso, Gadsden and Lovington

No. 15 Alexis Romo (Capital/ Class of 2016/ Forward)

Romo was part of both goals to tie Los Alamos.

No. 16 Kiki Najera (Las Cruces/ Class of 2016/ Forward)

Najera scored the game winner against Santa Teresa and Onate.

No. 17 Andres Torres (St. Pius/ Class of 2017/ Forward)

Torres scored the only goals for Pius against Eldorado and Rio Rancho.

No. 18 Cristian Garcia (Valencia/ Class of 2016/ Midfield)

Garcia acored all 4 goals in a game against Roswell.

Ruiz scored the only goal against Capital, Santa Fe Prep and Roswell.

No. 22 Samuel Gutierrez (Bloomfield/ Class of 2016)
24 Goals, 5 Assists.
Gutierrez had a hat tricks against Sandia Prep, Pojoaque and Montezuma.

No. 23 Tanner Hendrix (Eldorado/ Class of 2016/ Forward/ Midfield)
6 Goals, 8 Assists.
Hendrix recorded his best game when he scored 2 goals and had 1 assist against Hobbs.

No. 24 Avery Serda (Hope Christian/ Class of 2016/ Forward)
21 Goals, 3 Assists.
Serda had game winning goals against Piedra Vista, Los Lunas, Highland and Bloomfield.

Mata scored the only goal on Clovis and had a key goal against Goddard.

Resendiz scored 4 goals against Belen.

No. 60 Joshua Garcia (Cibola/ Class of 2016/ Midfield/ Defender)
7 Goals, 7 Assists.
Garcia scored the Cougars only goal in a loss to Sandia Prep.


No. 61 Andrew Moss (Farmington/ Class of 2016/ Midfield)
12 Goals, 10 Assists.
Moss recorded and important assist against Hope.

No. 62 Jose Orozco (Monte Del Sol/ Class of 2017)
11 Assists.
Orozco recorded his best game when he had 1 goal and 2 assists against Pojoaque.

No. 63 Luke Pikaart (Rehoboth/ Class of 2016/ Forward)

Pikaart scored the only goal on Bosque and was part of 4 goals against St. Mikes.

Meigs helped lead his team to a state championship.
