Polling your thoughts as to using players as the line judges during volleyball games. I know that there are not enough officials to go around, but should they use adults? I was at La Cueva/Eldorado last night. They were using some JV players to line judge the Varsity game. There were several times the official had to override the line judge's call. I think there might be a lot of pressure for the player to make close calls for their teammates. Not saying all or even most players would make unfair calls, but it is very hard, especially for a player to remain completely unbiased. Thoughts?
