Question: MX Freeman Rating and SOS

Does anyone want to take a stab at explaining the MaxPreps rankings and Strength of Schedule (SOS) numbers? Some of us coaches are feeling a bit frustrated because we're winning games within the top 10 but not seeing any movement in our rankings.
