Are there not NMAA rules which prevent players from school jumping? For instance, a player thinks he should be the starter on a varsity team and is not so he transfers to another local school where he will have a better chance of starting. Neither school is actually in the student/ athletes home address district. I was under the impression that they had to sit out for 1 calendar year to play varsity. Am I mistaken?
